NORTH GEORGIA CYLINDER & HYDRAULIC, INC. LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY:
North Georgia Cylinder & Hydraulic, Inc (NGCH) strives to deliver the highest quality parts, service and repairs. If there is ever anything that fails to meet your expectations, every effort will be made to correct it. Due to the nature of hydraulic systems, equipment, machinery and the unpredictability of operators, operating conditions as well as maintenance or lack thereof, all of our repairs are covered only under a 60-DAY limited warranty period from date of repair as shown on accompanying invoice that has been paid in full. By paying the invoice, Customer agrees to the terms and conditions of this warranty policy presented herein. Payment is due on receipt for all work completed by North Georgia Cylinder & Hydraulic, Inc. No warranty is offered on customer accounts that have a past-due balance. Should a problem occur during the 60-day limited warranty period, please bring it to our attention immediately.
Any unit to be considered for warranty coverage must be returned to our shop for inspection. Warranty acceptance is at the sole discretion of North Georgia Cylinder & Hydraulic, Inc and dependent on visual assessment and inspection of each unit on a case by case basis. If it is determined that the unit is covered under warranty, we will repair it at no charge to you.
This warranty does not cover units which have been disassembled or repaired by anyone other than North Georgia Cylinder & Hydraulic, Inc, nor failure due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or tampering, and does not cover any customer loss or expense resulting from the unit being out of operation. Units with components suffering from pre-existing damage or wear and tear that has been suggested for repair or replacement which was declined by customer for any reason including time, cost or inconvenience will not be covered under this warranty. To be eligible for warranty coverage all parts, seals, seal kits, bearings, etc used for repair of any unit must be either 1. Sourced and supplied by North Georgia Cylinder & Hydraulic, Inc OR 2. Genuine OEM parts in a sealed, unopened container clearly labeled and marked as genuine OEM parts. This means no warranty will be provided when using customer-supplied parts if they are not genuine OEM parts from an authorized and reputable dealer or equipment manufacturer. Units or components of units damaged during transit are not covered under this warranty. All units must be installed and operated according to original manufacturer’s specifications.
No other agreements, qualifications, or modifications to the warranty terms – whether verbal or written – are authorized to be made by any agent or representative of NGCH and shall not supersede the terms of this policy contained herein.
The terms of this warranty policy are subject to change at any time with or without notice to customer.
BEFORE INSTALLING A NEW OR RECENTLY REBUILT CYLINDER INTO AN OLD APPLICATION:
⁃ Has the problem been corrected that caused the original cylinder failure?
⁃ Is the hydraulic fluid clean of all contamination, water and air?
⁃ Have all filters been changed or cleaned properly?
⁃ Are the hydraulic system relief valve pressures set and operating correctly?
⁃ Is the mechanism or unit the cylinder is operating in good mechanical condition?
** Hydraulic systems may operate at extremely high pressure and can cause serious injury or death. Always wear proper personal protective equipment and follow manufacturer recommendations when assembling, disassembling, or servicing equipment. **
